Before Dan had to go back to work, he and mom took us and Dalton to the zoo. It was much hotter than we had anticipated so as soon as we got into the park mom bought the kids new t-shirts to wear. Sarah loved looking at all the animals and Lincoln just loved trying to run away the whole time. Sarah said that her favorites were the "mangos" (flamingos) and the elephant. She liked watching the meerkats, too. Lincolns favorite was the hippo. He was pretty cute, he kept rolling in the water and blowing bubbles. The best part of the whole trip was that we ended up with season passes because the line for tickets was so long that we (mom and Dan) decided it would be worth it to pay extra for the short line for season passes. Now, we can take the kids back whenever we want! Thank you!
Sarah was really tired (and slightly grumpy) in this picture, but its a good one of mom. This was taken on our carousel ride. Sarah doesn't like to ride the animals, she prefers the bench.
Side Note: This was Lincoln's first time riding forward-facing. My mom gave us this carseat after this trip and he has been 100% better at getting in the car. I used to dread it because he would fight me every time I tried to put him in his carseat. Now, he likes going in the car. It makes for much quieter car rides.
