Christmas was so much fun this year with the kids being a little older and all. Sarah was really excited for Santa to come and put out some cookies for him and some carrots for his reindeer. My mom and Dalton spent the night on Christmas Eve and then Christmas morning, Dan, Gaye, Karl, and Jimmy came over. We were all so excited to watch Sarah "open" her new swing set! Sarah ripped the paper off the back door, walked outside and just said 'wow'! She was pretty shocked! Then we (Mom, Dan, and us) went to church in East Hills Ward at 11 with David's family. It was only an hour and all music. Not that I heard any of it, Linc dog and I walked around the building the whole time. Little booger! After church we went to Uncle Davids for lunch and more presents and then to David's parents house for Christmas over there. From there we went to Grandma Smiths and enjoyed time with cousins. It was a long and exciting day! Merry Christmas!
{David and his new ax from my mom. He was so excited about it that later on that night, he and his posse went and chopped a tree down to try it out. Shh...don't tell anyone, especially not Karl, it makes him very nervous. Hahaha!}
I felt extremely spoiled this Christmas! I got everything I wanted and more. New boots, a pressure cooker, a Brighton bracelet, a new scarf, new running shoes, a jacket that actually fits me, framed pictures of the kids, and I am sure I am forgetting something. I felt very loved to say the least!
