.) Work: I am working for a financial planner 40 hours a week. Because I have school at 3:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and an occasional morning class, I make up the time by going in to the office at 7:15 on Mon., Wed., and Fri. and 7:30 on Tues. and Thurs. Now, for some of you waking up this early is no big deal, but for those of you who know me, this is one of the hardest things I do every day.
.) School: I am taking 4 classes, 20 units, for the 3rd quarter in a row. I have a technical writing class on Mon, Wed, and Fri from 10:45-12:30 in which we have a wrting assignment due every week. I have a Computers and Society class on mon and wed nights from 6-8 (and the classroom is always freezing!). On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have a Corporate Finance class from 3:30-5:30 and then my Senior Seminar class from 6-8. The amount of time I spend working on homework and studing for midterms and finals outside of these class hours is a whole other story. It would take too long to explain all the of the projects I am working on.The only thing getting me through is the fact that I am graduating in 23 days!!!
.) Graduation...another thing to add to the list. My Dad and Maureen are coming and they are staying with us for a couple of days. They haven't seen the house since we've moved in so I am excited to show them our home.
.) FMA (Financial Management Association): This is a club on campus that I have been trying to get actinvated for about a year now and it is finally getting going. We have close to 50 members and we even have an elected board of directors. Since I was the one to get the club going, I was elected President and right now I am not sure why I thought that being president was going to be cool. It is alot of work. We are currently planning a reception for November 17th and I am seriously going crazy trying to get it all put together. We also have meetings every Tuesday at 2:30pm and again at 5:30pm for those who couldn't make the first meeting.
.) Young Women's: Now this is actually something I enjoy so I am really glad this is on my list. I am second counselor in the YW's presidency, which is over the Beehives. I absolutely love my girls! I had so much fun at mutual tonight. I haven't been able to go lately because of class, but tonight I decided to ditch and hang out with the girls. We did our annual Thanksgiving Dinner scavenger hunt to collect food items to put into baskets for families in the ward who need them. I took pictures of the whole night to put into the girls camp slide show that the stake is putting together of YW performing acts of service. I am also the ward camp director, but it is the off season so I won't add that to my list. Speaking of seasons, I am also the YW sports cordinator, but that is also not happening right now so it is not on my list.
.) Maryellen's Wedding: I have the honor of being matron of honor in my SIL's wedding, December 15th. Up to this point I haven't done much to help other than try on my bridesmaids dress, which, by the way, is the cutest thing ever. It is even cute enough to wear over and over again after the wedding. Anyway, I am responsible for a few things coming up. This weekend is the shower and i am in charge of games and also housing Brandon's mom, aunt, and 2 sisters. I hope that this is not taken as complaining because I actually love to have people stay with us. In fact Gus and Jenna were just here last weekend and it was great. Also, the bachelorette party is coming up and I am responsible for that as well...that will be fun to plan, though.
.) Leftover Party: This year will be our second annual Thanksgiving leftover party which we host the day after Thanksgiving. I need to get invitations out soon. Last year we did football in the afternoon and then we ate leftovers. We had so much fun and had a great turnout. Lacy and Kacey are coming to stay with us for Thanksgiving also and I am SO excited to see the kids.
.) Anniversary: Our anniversary is November 19th so I need to think up a good gift or something fun to do for David. Ideas are welcome!
.) Keeping the house Clean: I had to add this to my list because it is an ongoing chore. Dishes, laundry, dusting, mopping...that stuff never ends.
Anyway...now that I have just made myself more overwhelmed by making this list...I better get back to HW and then get to bed so I can wake up and go to work in the morning.
Sorry there are no pictures...I will work on that.
