Random Good Times

We finally finished out sprinklers. David did the backyard a few months ago. Then, on Labor Day, David, Mike McGee, and myself finished the front yard. We are getting ready to lay seed now and hopefully we will have winter rye soon.

I am the YW sports director in our ward and our YW recently won the stake volleyball tournament. So we are now the stake basketball and volleyball champions. I am so proud!
Gaye and Karl recently reached a milestone in the construction of their house....they put in grass! It looks great and the dogs are so happy about their newly installed carpet.
We threw a surprise birthday party for Katy at the Mexican restaurant behind Walmart...I always forget what it is called. We had fun!
This is Lucy at Patrick's birthday party. I also have pictures from Lucy's b-day party that I will try to put on here soon.
This is my cute grandma at her surprise birthday party at Hungry Hunter.
Michael and Brody in grandma's wheelchair after she broke her foot.

Mother-Daughter Vegas Trip

The weekend before last, Sept. 21-23, my mom and I decided to go to Vegas for a little relaxation. Here are some pictures...they might look at little deformed because I messed them up trying to make them smaller

I took the Kennington's family picture while I was there: Porter, Kacey, Lacy, and Paisley...Thanks guys for letting us stay out your house

Here is a close-up of Paisley...she is only 2 months old.

Porter was watching me put my make-up on and then he decided to do the same. It was pretty cute

This is the Bellaggio flowers...my favorite place to go on the strip (it was actually the only place we went on the strip). They had it decorated for fall, my favorite season!

Me and my mom at the Bellaggio...I don't know what she's looking at.

My mom and her cousin Sandy. Sandy has lived in Vegas over 10 years and had never seen the Bellaggio flowers...so we HAD to take her there

This guy was so cool. He was made from an old tree.
