Angels vs. Devil Rays

Scott Kirk gave me tickets to see the Angels, so Jimmy and I headed south. Neither of us had been to an Angels game before so we didn't know what to expect. All I had was my memory of ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD. We had to drive past Disneyland, but it was only one turn off the freeway to get to the stadium.

we had decent seats but they were up at the top of the stadium

so we snuck down to seats in the outfield

we actually sat next to a lady that looked just like Matt Gates. i couldnt stop staring, and jimmy kept laughing so i just took a picture of her to prove it to everyone.

we had a great time, mostly because of the fact we never had to wait in a line or traffic. we got lucky

to top it off we stopped at wendy's for a snack

Time to Catch-up...

Okay...so I have not posted a blog in a long time and it is mostly due to the fact that I am too lazy to put my pictures on the computer and onto photobucket. I have taken many picures and done many exciting things...I even think of how I will post my blog as I am taking pictures. Well, I still haven't put my pictures on the computer, but David did put a few of the American
Idol concert in photobucket so I will post those. I would put more pictures on right now, but David took the lap top to work and that is another reason why it never gets done. I am on my old computer I got for high school graduation from my dad. Anyway...here is mine and Katy's trip to the American Idol Concert on July 20th...by the way these were the tickets I won by being the tallest woman in Bakersfield.

This is a good picture of Katy, but a terrible picture of me...oh well...here we are at the concert...we had SO much fun. Pop Tarts sponsored the concert so they gave out free pop tarts as we left...we walked around the building and got like 8 packages of pop tarts...mmm!

Blake Lewis was amazing (I had a better one of just him, but it didn't fit on the page, so I found this one of all of them at the end, Blake had his camera and was taking pictures from the stage)...he was my favorite...he was just so fun to watch. During one song, he started beat boxing a background beat and with his feet he was using some recorder and recorded himself and then while that kept playing he sang over it...it was pretty cool. You can see Chris Sly on the left in this picture and Chris Richardson on the right...I really like them too.

This was right after intermission...Phil Stacey came up out of the middle of the stage singing God Bless America with the girls in cute nurse outfits around him. This performance was so cool because everyone in the audience got their cell phones out and waved them in the air...it sounds cheesy, but in the moment it was very patriotic.

This is Jordan Sparks the winner of American Idol...she has a beautiful voice. She actually sounded better live than on tv. I have other pictures and I even have some video, but David didn't put them on photobucket for me, so this is all you get for now.
